AUTHOR Kate Summerscale will be coming to Ely next month to read from her new book The Suspicions of Mr Whicher and the Ely Standard has a pair of tickets to give away to one lucky reader.
The event has been organised by Topping & Company Booksellers in High Street, Ely, and Kate Summerscale follows in the footsteps of Alan Bennett, Tony Benn and Joanna Trollope who have visited Ely for book signings and readings.
The Suspicions of Mr Whicher is the true story of a murder in 1860...a murder that inspired a generation of crime writers, from Wilkie Collins to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
The reading event is on June 6 at St Etheldreda's Church in Egremont Street and starts at 7.15pm, with wine. Tickets are £6, but there is £6 off the price of the book should you decided to buy it.
If you would like to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets for the event, organised by Topping & Co, and then answer this question.
