Wimpole History Festival takes place on July 7 to 9 - and the Ely Standard has three pairs of tickets to give away!

The festival is a new partnership between Cambridge Literary Festival and the National Trust,

“Held at the beautiful Wimpole Estate on the outskirts of Cambridge it promises a feast of history and heritage for the whole family with highlights including William Dalrymple, Lucy Worsley, Chris Patten, Andrew Marr and David Olusoga plus living history, falconry, sword school, food and crafts,” say organisers.

To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets, email ben.jolley@archant.co.uk with 20 words on Why History Matters. The first three people to email will be the winners.

Closing date is Monday July 3.
