The sun shone and drinks flowed at the 20th Wilburton Beer Festival this weekend.
The popular annual gathering saw an eclectic mix of live bands enjoyed by families from across the region.
The festival has raised more than £75,000 in 20 years and this year’s beneficiaries will include The Liam Fairhurst Foundation, Milton Hospice, Beads of Courage plus more than twenty further local charitable organisations and community groups.
The best festival beer or cider was awarded to Spinney Abbey for their “Wilbur Beast” cider, with the trophy donated by local blacksmith Mike Overall.
Clara’s Confections kindly donated an anniversary cake which was handed out to Sunday punters.
Charlie Gienke, festival chairman, said: “We have had a fabulous weekend to mark our 20th anniversary. More than 2000 people enjoyed a great selection of drinks and entertainment in a beautiful setting with incredible weather. I am looking forward to the next twenty years of beers in Wilburton.”
