THE president Linda Harvey welcomed members to the April meeting. The minutes were read. Another patchwork evening was arranged for Tuesday April, 24 at Anchor Court at 7.15pm. A letter was received from Sue Ryder about a Remembrance quilt; names were taken for the group meeting at Littleport Village Hall on May 17, and a birthday gift was given to Althea Brumby.
Members agreed to help at the Littleport Show on July 21. A meeting was arranged for June 18.
Linda then introduced Mrs Elliott who demonstrated Ribbon Embroidery and many members were able at have a go. She was thanked by Maggie McGovern.
There were 14 entries in the needlecraft competition.
