MEMBERS of Stretham WI abandoned business on the evening of their March meeting and instead assembled at The Red Lion for a meal out with all the trimmings. A great time was had by all and thanks are due to Mrs Human and Mrs Wakefield for all the hard work they put in to organising the evening. Thanks also to the staff and management of The Red Lion for providing a lovely welcome and a most enjoyable feast. The WI ladies will be doing all the catering for an Easter Coffee Morning on Saturday, from 10am till 12.30pm in Stretham Parish Rooms. There will be home-baked cakes to eat or take home, plus a treasure hunt for children, tombola, sales table and a grand raffle. All proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK. Everyone is welcome. Ple
