FOR the May meeting, members met at Scott Court and enjoyed a sausage supper provided by the committee. After the 'galley-slaves' had washed up, business took over. Sutton's Stepping Out Scrapbook has been sent to Denman for judging. Mrs Camps was presented with china for competition points. Renewable Energy and Sport for a healthy population were discussed. The competition for a miniature flower arrangement was won by G Deal.
Our June meeting was the summer outing and members decided to be ladies who lunch and booked a table at The Dolphin Hotel in St Ives. The table overlooked the river, and lunch was enjoyed (especially the highly-calorific desserts!). Names were taken for quizzes during Feast Week and members volunteered to help with refreshments for the Feast Beast Run. Afterwards some members took the opportunity to shop in St Ives.
