THE president welcomed members and M Fresco (vice secretary) read the minutes, county letter and dates for the diaries were noted including a group meeting at Adelaide on May 18 and a fashion evening at Southery on May 4. Birthday pens or hankies were given to two members.
Our speaker was Mr Grounds, who spoke of his experiences as an auctioneer. It was a most enjoyable talk. M Gibson, who is leaving Littleport, was presented with a basket of flowers. Roz Key then conducted a quiz. There were 22 entries for the competition. The next Resolutions meeting will be held on May 11, when the speaker will be Susanne Davies talking about perfume blending.
