MEMBERS of the Littleport Lions Korfball Club will take to the microphone to raise money for their club.
A Rock Idol singing contest has been organised to take place on May 22 at the Littleport Leisure Centre, from 8pm.
The audience will see eight acts performing cover songs from bands such as Green Day, Franz Ferdinand, The White Stripes and the Buzzcocks. They will be backed by local rock band Pro Virus.
A judging panel will then decide which 'Lion' becomes the next Rock Idol. Entry is £2 and proceeds will go to the Clubs Tournament Trip to Holland in August.
