An open day was held to give people a chance to meet animals from across the region.
Isle of Ely Pets held the event with a chance to meet therapy dogs from a national charity group and also a friendly Shetland pony.
Joining the open day was Chris Kent of the K9 project who runs the successful canine community cafe in Ely Cathedral centre.
The cafe has made a name for itself as a lifeline for being a social hub for dog lovers in East Cambridgeshire.
The K9 cafe project was set up three years ago by educator and social worker Chris, who has a background in using dogs as therapy for youngsters facing social isolation.
She then grew it into a local non-profit organisation after she received some money from the European Social Work fund.
Organisers said: ““Wow what a day,” that was the reaction of Isle of Ely Pets Ltd to their family fun day.
