A COLLECTION from members of the Ely Watercolour Workshop at their recent exhibition at the Almonry Restaurant, Ely, and a percentage from the sale of pictures and greeting cards was handed over to charity.
A cheque for £137.67 was presented to the Sue Ryder Care Centre on May 19.
The cheque was presented by group's secretary Pam Blake to Sue Ryder patient Alan Young and Mike Axford the care centre manager.
The centre provides respite care for people over the age of 18 years with progressive neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington's Disease and acquired and traumatic brain injuries.
