YOUNGSTERS from Busy Fingers Pre-School in Little Downham, learnt all about the risks of fire after a visit from Ely firefighters this week.
The pre-school children were shown the work of firefighters and even had a look around a fire engine when it parked up on Little Downham recreation field on Monday.
Youngsters at the pre-school are currently learning about 'people who help us', and the visit from the fire crew was part of that.
Amanda Newman, pre-school manager, said: "The children have had great fun re-enacting what they've seen. The fire crew have also loaned us a 'topic box' containing miniature uniforms, activities and information leaflets.
"It obviously helps with their knowledge and understanding.
