Rush hour commuters faced a delay of over an hour after a tractor towing a water butt lost control, causing litres of water to spill over the surface of the A10 at Downham Road.
Police were called to the scene on the A10 roundabout at around 4.10pm yesterday (Wednesday June 8) to reports that a yellow JCB tractor had shed its load.
Specialist equipment was used to remove the water, causing delays of over an hour as the road was closed.
It is understood no-one was injured in the incident, and the road was re-opened at around 6pm.
