A WARRANT was issued for the arrest of 22-year-old Thomas Gillett when he failed to attend Ely courthouse, to answer a charge of breaching his 80-hour unpaid work order.
Gillett was given the order back in October, when he admitted shoplifting, in an attempt to raise cash for a train fare.
It is alleged that Gillett, of St Ovin's Green, Ely, missed appointments with the probation service on November 7, and December 5 and 12.
