A WARRANT was issued for the arrest of 21-year-old Ely man Leon Franklin when he failed to attend the city courthouse on Thursday. Franklin, of High Barns, Ely, has denied assaulting a police officer at Parkside Police Station in Cambridge on November 14.

Franklin, of High Barns, Ely, has denied assaulting a police officer at Parkside Police Station in Cambridge on November 14.
He is also charged with causing �500-worth of damage to a window at USA Chicken in Ely on the same date, and failing to provide a breath specimen at Parkside on November 15.
