A WARRANT was issued for the arrest of Ely man Daniel Gillett this week, when he failed to attend the city courthouse.
Gillett, 22, of St Ovin's Green, has denied an allegation of theft, and was due to have the date of his trial fixed on Thursday.
It is alleged that Gillett stole six bottles of wine and a yoghurt drink, worth a total of £25.53, from the BP service station in Ely on October 3.
