A WARRANT was issued for the arrest of 32-year-old Gavin Townend when he failed to attend Ely courthouse.
Townend, who is homeless but has a "care-of" address at Abbots Way, Ely, is accused of breaching the terms of his community order, by missing two appointments with the probation service and failing to keep in touch with a probation officer.
He was given the order back in April of last year, after admitting he stole �4 worth of chocolate.
When Townend was originally sentenced, he given his 12-month supervision order, and the probation service was asked to address his drug and accommodation problems.
