Spring has spring in Ely - and volunteers were out in force last weekend to make sure the city’s streets were neat and tidy.
Dozens of helpers reached for their litter pickers and bin bags to give the city a spring clean on April 2.
Cleaners could choose their area to cover, which included the Riverside and Jubiliee gardens.
Once they had finished the two-hour clean, they enjoyed a tea and cake at the Volunteers’ Centre on Fore Hill.
