Viva Soham has announced audition dates for its production of ‘Dad’s Army’.
The production will feature three well-known episodes from the TV series: The Deadly Attachment, The Godiva Affair and Mum’s Army, as well as a short sketch from the Dad’s Army West End show entitled ‘The Floral Dance’.
It will be staged in Soham from June 15 to 17 2017.
Viva say: “We will have some initial orientation and cast meetings pre-Christmas with a view to starting rehearsals in January 2017.
“Rehearsals will take place on Wednesday evenings in Soham usually from 7pm to 9.30pm.
“Weekend rehearsals, usually Sundays, will start in March 2017 with full weekend rehearsals taking place nearer the performance times.
“Remember, we are looking for people who can do good imitations of the main characters – “Stupid boy” “Don’t panic!” “We’re doomed” etc etc. We look forward to seeing you at the auditions.”
