Viva Arts and Community Group will bring the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast to life at Soham Village College’s Performing Arts Centre stage next week.

Running from Thursday 26 to Saturday 28 October, performances start at 7.30pm. There’s also a 2pm matinee on the Saturday.

Directed by Lee Sherwood and Ben Clark, the production is based on the original Broadway production that ran for over 13 years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, and the Academy Award-winning Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR.

“It is a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance, featuring some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice,” say Viva.

Tickets, £12, are available from www.wegottickets.com/viva-presents-disney-s-beauty-the-beast-jr or by calling the Viva Box Office on 01353 722228 or emailing vivayouth@hotmail.co.uk
