SOHAM Village College has announced the appointment of its new principal.
Dr Carin Taylor, 41, pictured, is deputy head at a school in Oundle and will replace current principal Dr Lunn in September.
Dr Taylor said: "I am delighted to be joining Soham Village College as its principal - it is a privilege to be asked to lead such a successful school, described by Ofsted as 'outstanding'. I look forward to building on the very many strengths of Soham Village College, on partnership with its talented and committed team of staff, governors, parents and pupils to provide a truly outstanding centre of excellence for all."
Dr Taylor is married with three children and studied medieval history at Cambridge for her PhD.
