Ely City 1 Histon Reserves 2

HAVING won 5-1 at Histon only four weeks earlier, and with that team languishing below them in the table, despite having played three games more, Ely could have been forgiven for expecting an easy ride on Saturday.

That was not the way in turned out, however, and Histon managed to claim their first away win of the season.

John Kennedy opened the scoring after Ely goalkeeper Lee Pacey had attempted to punch clear, and Neil Kennedy grabbed the second half winner after Russell Flitton had got the hosts back on level terms.
