FIREWORKS rained down on Cherry Hill Park in Ely on Saturday for the annual Bonfire Night display.
Rockets, Catherine wheels and Roman candles entertained hundreds of visitors against the spectacular backdrop of Ely Cathedral.
Each year, entrance fees go to support local charities and community organisations. Young Farmers, City of Ely Swimming Club and Cambridgeshire Flyball Team have all benefitted from £11,000 from money raised from Ely's annual fireworks fiesta. Local schools were invited to take part in the traditional Guy competition. Each school who entered received a £50 cheque, with £150 to the best dressed guy.
