POLICE are appealing for witnesses after vandals struck at a Haddenham take-away twice in two days.

Owners of the Chinese take-away in High Street, were forced to replace the shop windows on Feb 17 after vandals struck by were hit again the following day at about 6pm.

On the second occasion, an open-backed truck pulled up and someone threw a stone at the window.

There were staff and customers in the shop who were frightened but not injured.

PC Rachel Loveridge said there would have been people in the area at the time and appealed for anyone who saw what happened or was in the shop at the time to contact police.
