A VAN driver whose vehicle drifted across the road and collided with an oncoming lorry at Witchford has admitted careless driving.
Richard Saberton, 48, of Main Street, Little Downham, was behind the wheel of a Mitsubishi Canter when the accident happened on the A142 Ely Road on November 22.
"He drifted towards the opposite side of the road and was in collision with a Scania lorry," prosecutor Emma Dmitriev said.
Saberton was fined £175 with £35 costs, and three points added to his licence.
