A VAN driver involved in a fatal road accident at Witchford earlier this year has denied careless driving, and on Thursday his case was adjourned for two weeks by Ely magistrates.
Paul Turner 39, of Friars Place, Littleport, is accused of driving a Volkswagen Transporter carelessly on the A142 Sutton Road on Saturday 1 March.
Seventy-six-year-old Phyllis Brown of Sutton, a passenger in a Skoda Octavia, died following the accident.
