A fishing competition in aid of Liam's Fund will be held on Oxlode Lakes on September 8.
Georgina Shaw has organised the match which will take place between 1pm and 6pm at the fishing lakes near Little Downham, with a prize-giving at around 6.15pm.
Entrants are asked to make a donation to the fund.
A 114-strong dinner party has raised more than £920 for Liam's Fund.
Guests were asked not to bring presents for 67-year-old John Audus' birthday party but to make donations. Mr Audus' wife Sylvia said: "We decided this year to give money to Liam's Fund, it's nice because he's from Soham too. Once you get to 67 you've got everything you need so we decided to do something for Liam. It was so lovely that all our friends and family decided to pitch in."
Liam's classmate from Soham Village College has persuaded 70 of the school's students to sign up for a 5km walk.
The PJ5K event involves participants doing a sponsored circuit around Wandlebury Park, South Cambridgeshire in their pyjamas. It will take place on September 22. Liam's classmate Alex Fox said: "We hope to raise £5,000 for CLIC Sargeant and we're really excited about taking part in the day with our friends and families."
The sponsored walk can be done at any pace with a special 1km walk for toddlers.
The event is part of CLIC Sargeant's Yummy Mummy week. If you would like to take part, sign up at www.clicsargent.org.uk/yumymummy or call the event hotline on 0845 206 658.
Mark Palmer's sponsored bike ride has also raised money for Liam's Fund. Mr Palmer cycled 120 miles from his home in Wicken to Hunstanton on August 12, after being inspired by his 11-year-old daughter's fund-raising efforts.
