A MAN who died after his car collided with a tree in Fordham has been named by police
Stephen Floyd, 53, of New Road in Exning, suffered fatal injuries after his vehicle left the B1102 Station Road shortly before 8am on Monday and careered into a tree at the roadside.
The road was closed in both directions between the A142 Market Street junction and the Toyse Lane junction, while emergency services worked to clear the scene.
The road was finally reopened to traffic shortly after 1pm. Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them on 101.
