A MAN who assaulted a fellow employee at Turners in Fordham has been ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
Ely magistrates were told that Yury Malchanau was knocked unconscious during the disagreement over pallets, and needed seven stitches to a mouth wound.
Kader Sulaiman had previously denied assault, but was convicted in his absence at a trial last month.
Sulaiman, 49, of Ratcliffe Road, Welland, Peterborough, was also ordered to pay �145.60 compensation and �300 costs.
