Two people were left trapped in a car after a collision on Branch Bank between Littleport and Queen Adelaide last night.
A crew of Cambridgeshire firefighters, who were called at 10.04pm, released the occupants of the two-vehicle collision using specialist cutting equipment.
A fire service spokesman said: “It is understood that some people had ‘self-rescued’, but two other people were trapped.”
They returned to stations by 12.50am.
