Two people had to be cut out of a vehicle on Saturday evening and one taken to hospital by air ambulance after a crash on Upware Road, Upware.
Firefighters from Soham and Newmarket were called to the collision at around 5.42pm.
Using specialist cutting equipment they released two casualties, one of which was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
The crews returned to their stations by 8.25pm.
