A DRUG user who took �120-worth of cocaine to the Newmarket races, intending to share it with friends, has been ordered to carry out 130 hours of unpaid work.
Tony Wilson, 29, of Beaconsfield Road, Camden Town, was also given a two-month curfew order, keeping him indoors every night between 9pm and 7am.
Ely magistrates ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs - but refused to seize the �554 cash found on Wilson at the time of his arrest because they were not convinced it came from drug dealing.
The court heard how the class A drug - divided into 13 wraps - was discovered when Wilson was searched at the race course. He said the cash in his pocket was his winnings.
The London bus steam cleaner had previously admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply.
"He was supplying to his equals," said Jacqui Baldwin, mitigating. "He and his mates were going to use the drugs on a recreational basis.
