POLICE arrested two boys on Tuesday night following a burglary in Fordham.
Officers were called at 5.27pm by a neighbour reporting two people breaking into a house in New Path. The duo were then seen leaving the area in a car which was quickly seen by a PCSO and then picked up by the force helicopter.
The helicopter stayed with the vehicle as it entered the A14. During which time the car passed through two vehicles on the westbound carriageway close to the A11 junction, resulting in a St John’s Ambulance leaving the road.
The driver, a 42-year-old woman, and her passenger, a 59-year-old man, suffered minor injuries during the collision.
The pair then drove into the city centre and stopped in Burleigh Street where they left the vehicle.
