Two arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs following raid in Ely

Police say they recovered a haul of suspected Class A drugs following a raid on a house in Ely on Monday.

A team of officers arrived in New Barns Avenue at about 2pm and smashed through the front door.

A spokesman for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “We recovered some suspected Class A drugs which are being examined.

“A 20-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs and are both in custody in King’s Lynn.”
