A WORLD Cup hotline has been set by Cambridgeshire police to allow the public to report any anti-social behaviour associated with the games.
The line will record messages from anyone reporting trouble at venues showing World Cup games and it will be monitored so a police response will be ordered when deemed necessary.
Acting Chief Supt Mick Gipp, of the force's Safer Communities Directorate, said: "We want people to be able to enjoy one of the greatest sporting competitions without the threat of violence, anti-social behaviour or any other disruption."
INFO: The hotline number is 01480 422500 and Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555111.
