FLOUR eggs and candles are off the menu as the emergency services urge young people to behave themselves. Fire and police services have issued safety warnings and local shops are also getting involved, warning the staff they should not sell flour or eggs to young people in the run-up to Halloween.
Residents can also repel trick or treaters by downloading posters from www.cambs.police.uk. Each poster displays 'sorry, no trick or treat here thank you.' Printed copies are available from Ely police station.
