TWO men have denied stealing more than �700-worth of scrap metal from a recycling company.
Louis Bettle, 58, and Albert Smith, 53, both appeared before Ely magistrates on Thursday, when their trial was set for May 13.
Bettle, of Drove Road, Biggleswade, and Smith, of Potton Caravan Site, Potton, are alleged to have stolen 238 kilos of scrap metal from Scrap Co at Red Lodge on November 22 last year.
They were given unconditional bail until they return to court for their trial.
