AT the October meeting, the speaker was Janet Naylor. The presentation was called 'funny ladies', which was about Nellie Wallace, Joyce Grenfell and Gracie Fields - their personal lives, marriages and when they passed away. Janet imitated them singing their songs or reciting their monologues, demonstrating how they put their material over to enable the audience to visualise them.

The next meeting will be Wednesday, November 22, which is also our Christmas meeting. Entertainment will be Lacy Anderson playing a digital piano accordion. Lacy hopes to make it a Christmas theme, to get us into the mood. A date not to be missed.
