The A14 has reopened after a "serious" crash involving three lorries near Newmarket.
One person was trapped in their lorry as a result of the crash in the eastbound carriageway just after 10.40am today, Monday, January 17. Two people received minor injuries.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews are working with the ambulance service to rescue one person who is trapped inside a lorry.
"One lorry has left the carriageway and crashed into trees, sustaining heavy damage to the front of the vehicle."
FlightRadar24 shows an air ambulance in the area just after the time of the crash.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said: "Police attended and have closed the road while the vehicles are recovered.
"Two people received minor injuries.

"People are advised to avoid the area."
National Highways have since confirmed that the A14 has reopened to allow traffic to start moving once again.
In a tweet they said: "The A14 eastbound between J35 and J36 near Newmarket and Cambridge has now been fully reopened after the earlier collision.
"All delays have cleared."
A diversion route was put in place by National Highways. It was as follows:
- Exit the A14 at J35 and take the A1303 and continue for approx. 6 miles until the A1303/A1304 junction
- Continue on to the A1304 in to Newmarket to the A1304/A142 roundabout
- Take the A142 and continue to re-join the A14 at J37
