A TRACTOR driver caught using a mobile phone while driving along Angel Drove in Ely gave a false name to police when stopped.
Nathan Johnson, 23, gave his step-brother's details, but later admitted his true identity.
Appearing before Ely magistrates on Thursday, Johnson, of Westwood Road, St Ives, admitted obstructing police, using a mobile phone when driving, and having no licence to drive the tractor.
He was fined a total of �170, three points were endorsed on his driving record and he must pay �85 costs and a �15 surcharge.
