WICKEN-based potter Stephen Murfitt has been invited to display some of his work at the prestigious new Contemporary Ceramics Centre opposite the British Museum in London.

Stephen is a professional member of the Craft Potters Association and has been making pots for more than 30 years.

He is currently taking part in the Cambridge Open Studios event and his work can also be seen at The Babylon Gallery, Ely in the Craft and Design Showcase which runs until August 25

Stephen, pictured, shares his studio with fellow artist Terry Beard. Visitors are welcome to visit the studio throughout the year by appointment, see his website for details
