A SERIOUS attack in Ely on Saturday saw three men stabbed.
A SERIOUS attack in Ely on Saturday saw three men stabbed.
The incident took place at about 1.20am on Saturday near the Townhouse Pub in Market Street, with two men aged 18 and 24 taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.
A third man also suffering from stab wounds was treated at the scene.
Police moved swiftly to arrest two 17-year-olds from Ely on suspicion of assault, with one later taken to hospital.
Detectives have said they will be examining CCTV footage of the incident and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward.
Detective Inspector Graham Bremner, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who was in the Market Street area of the city during the early hours of this morning.

“Investigations are underway to determine what happened and we are treating it as an isolated incident. Anyone with information no matter how small could prove vital in determining what happened.”
