THREE people accusing of attacking a man in Soham are to face trial before Cambridge Crown Court.

Thomas Cavey, 25, of Western Way, Bury St Edmunds; Jodie Cavey, 18, of High Street, Ashley; and a teenager from Fordham who cannot be named due to a court order, appeared before Ely magistrates on Thursday.

It is alleged that the three defendants jointly assaulted Benjamin Neal on June 20, causing him actual bodily harm.

They chose not to indicate a plea during the hearing, and were all given conditional bail until a committal hearing at the city courthouse on November 26.
