THREE people were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle after a member of the public followed a vehicle they believed to have been stolen and called the police.
Officers were called at 11.35pm on Monday night after reports that a car had been stolen in Queen Adelaide.
Police followed the white Vauxhall Corsa through Mildenhall, towards Newmarket and into Cambridge where the occupants were then arrested.
A 16-year-old boy, of no fixed address, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle without the owner's consent, driving whilst disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance.
He will appear in Cambridge Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
A 15-year-old girl from Burwell has been bailed to Ely Police Station on September 19 and a 19-year-old man, of no fixed address, has been cautioned for being taken in a motor vehicle without the owner's consent.
