ELY pensioner Patrick Hessian has been charged with threatening to cause an explosion at city premises owned by Cambridge Housing Association.
It is alleged that 66-year-old Hessian, of Wheatsheaf Close, Ely, made the threat between December 1, 2005 and December 27, 2006.
When he appeared at Ely courthouse on Thursday, the case was adjourned for seven days. He is banned from contacting staff or residents at the young persons project in Wheatsheaf Close at Ely as a condition of his bail.
