MORE than 60 members of Girlguiding Littleport celebrated Thinking Day, the joint birthday of the founders of Worldwide Guiding. The celebration took the form of a Chinese New Year activity afternoon. The girls, aged five years upwards, took part in a variety of Chinese crafts and activities, including making lanterns, bead bracelets and a money tree, dancing, singing and decorating biscuits. The afternoon culminated with a dragon dance for which each unit had made their own dragon and each girl had made a mask. The dragons danced to music created by the girls using a variety of percussion instruments.
