Thieves stole a tin of money during a burglary at a restaurant in High Street, Sutton in December.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 12.44am on December 23 with reports of a burglary in the High Street in Sutton.
“At about 12.35am on the same day two men gained entry to the Sutton Tandoori restaurant and stole a blue cash tin.
“Officers attended the scene and continue to investigate the incident. No arrests have been made.
“If you have any information, call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
