2017 was a year of records for the Haddenham Beer Festival.
A record amount of 42 beers and 18 ciders helped the festival’s committee raise an impressive £8,000, which will be donated to a host of local causes.
Held over the first weekend of July, the three-day festival also featured food stalls, charity stalls and bands, with a record number of visitors sampling all it had to offer.
Rowanne Harritt, the committee’s secretary, said: “This is the third year that this committee has been running the festival and we are all so pleased that we can contribute such an amazing amount back into the community, both as donations, but also throwing a party to bring a village together in such a brilliant way.”
The festival, which is now in its third year, has helped raise over £20,000 for causes which include the village’s primary school and pre-school, football club, cricket club and village library.
