‘War and Peace’ is the theme of Ely Consort’s programme for their concert at Ely Cathedral on Saturday March 25.
It will include John Rutter ~ Requiem, Paul Mealor ~ Wherever you are (as performed by the Military Wives Choir), Michael Tippett ~ Spirituals from ‘A Child of Our Time’, Howard Goodall ~ Sure on the sky, sure on the sun and Rudolf Mauersberger ~ Wie liegt die Stadt so wüst (How desolate lies the city)
