THE association held its monthly meeting, the speaker was Mr Harper-Scott, from Notcutts Nurseries, Horningsea. He brought along a large selection of plants, describing in detail how to grow them to best advantage. After the talk, Mr Harper-Scott answered questions from the audience.
At the next meeting, on Wednesday April 25, there will be a presentation by Brian Payne on 'the life of a magistrate'
On Wednesday, May 23 there will be a presentation of the history and future of Robert Sayle and John Lewis, followed by a collection for the Robert Sayle charity Young Minds.
Members are reminded to book for the summer outing to Caithness Crystal Glass on Thursday, June 28. Fare only £6 per person. Coaches leave from Soham, Cambridge and Littleport.
