MEETINGS last week were led by Major John Boyd, continuing the series of studies on 'the names of God'. The singers are practising hard for carol concerts at local residential homes in December.
On Saturday, a Salvation Army Band will be playing carols in the Market Place and cash donations can be made toward the purchase of food hampers for these families and other assistance to people in need.
